BrockGrimes Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Pretty cool build, I still have the cartoon mags. Been away from models for awhile, guess I better get busy.
Kennyboy Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Getting close with the build! Halibrand's on the front were donated from a fellow club member (they were from the Rat Roaster) front suspension was taken from the AMT '55 Stepside pickup. Taillights were cut out of the original body (molded in) and replaced with taillights from a Revell '55 chevy. Just playing around with the "smoke" for now....it will be better! Did a quick print and mockup of the arm out of the roof.....I LIKE IT! Now I just have to make the arm out of Apoxie Sculpt. Some quick pics for you guys..... Edited December 28, 2014 by Kennyboy
mustang1989 Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 This is nifty Ken!! The smoke effect on the tires puts the cherry on top of this one!

horsepower Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 The belt ran inside of the idler pulley will engage more teeth and will be less likely to start shearing teeth off the drive belt because it takes the same force to spin the blower, but spreads it out over more teeth, but it also takes more power to spin the blower, it's a tradeoff between horsepower and reliability.
