YoungLuis Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 A tale of sadness yet hope. A long time ago, when I just had started to build model cars I bought this kit and...well, trashed it. Now almost 5 years its time to do it right! I found it today in my storage! everything is here except the instructions, first off, stripping the horrible rattle can paint job! and brushed on interior work!
Trans Am Erik Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Glad everything is still there, I'm looking forward to seeing it built.
fantacmet Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 I look forward to this, I've ALWAYS wanted this kit. This is my FAVORITE Lambo ever created.

I know this is a random 1st post, but I thought this might be of interest;http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=121470132687 Not sure about the rear wing? The pics of the built kit make it look like it's mounted too steeply.
YoungLuis Posted October 30, 2014 Author Posted October 30, 2014 Im having trouble detaching soms already glued pieces, I dont want to force it, I was thinking hot water maybe?
blackandwhite Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 Submerse in water and put into freezer. The water should expand in the cracks/voids, and hopefully make light work of separating parts
Bonekrosha Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 I've got an extra set of instructions if you need em
YoungLuis Posted November 2, 2014 Author Posted November 2, 2014 I've got an extra set of instructions if you need em I actually just found mine, thanks anyways!
YoungLuis Posted November 3, 2014 Author Posted November 3, 2014 So after finally getting the already glued pieces to part I sprayed acoat of primer onto the engine, than......tragedy struck, when I was about to get my compressor and airbrush ready, my compressor seemed to make almost no preasure, after messing with it for a bit, I gave up and decided to just buy a new one since that on old Paasche beauty is 30+ years old and been a bit abused, so than on my way to my nearest Michaels ( I know why in the world would you go to michaels) to get some paint, I saw this little Testors airbrush kit, and since I had a coupon to get 50% off anything I decided to try this out! came out to little over 11 dollars! anyways this is what it comes with and for a temporary back up I think it will do the job! I'll let you know how it handles the job!
