gfishee Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 (edited) I love to paint the bodies and allow them to fully dry, in the meantime I do all the other parts of the build. ADHD? Just a us lol Enjoy ? Edited November 4, 2014 by gfishee
Miatatom Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I like to have 3 or 4 going at the same time. If I mess up big on one, I'm not dead in my tracks. Set it aside and go back to it later.
gfishee Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 That's another great point...I've gotten something in the paint or wanted to change things after looking at one sitting off to the side for a while.
ZTony8 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I like the variety of your builds. I,too, seem to be building(or more properly, trying to build,)more than one kit a time. This goes all the way back to column I read in Car Model magazine back in the sixties.Written by Ben Millspaugh he suggested the very thing we're doing so you're always working on a model when there's down time on each one. He's also the one I blame for putting me on this path and why I now have about 1200 unfinished/unstarted kits!
gfishee Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Thanks Tony. I seem to gravitate toward things that go fast. I am planning to broaden my collection in the near future. I agree with Ben, I'm not very patient during down time and have messed up finishes before by trying to build before they've had time to fully cure.
