dublin boy Posted November 3, 2014 Posted November 3, 2014 I've seen a couple of very nice prostock Mustang II's here recently. This is the old Firefighter kit. Just going box stock, but with Ford Amparo blue and stripes from the Revell Viper. Just painted and cleared. Long way to go yet, I have a love/hate thing with old MPC stuff.
Custom Mike Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 (edited) Looks like a great color combination Shay! I feel your pain on this old kit, it takes some work to get it looking right! Edited November 6, 2014 by Custom Mike
rsxse240 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Your paint looks darn good! You may have seen my build, the Elenore II. I'll be updating it pretty soon with the chassis out of a 94/95 mustang. Getting it to fit was quite simple. I can't wait to see what you have in store for us.
dublin boy Posted November 4, 2014 Author Posted November 4, 2014 Thanks guys. That Eleanor II is looking fantastic Ken.
dublin boy Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Cheers Geoff. Couple of outside shots, needs more polishing I think..
Nova-ss Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Looks great! !. I hear that with MPC there chassis plates are...not good. I do not like that the most. What are you going to do about the chassis plate?

What are you going to do about the chassis plate? It'll be out of box Chistopher, even though it sits too high for Pro Stock. To be honest I haven't even opened all the plastic bags yet.. Real nice paint. Nice touch on the stripes.. Thanks Carl Edited November 6, 2014 by dublin boy
Bob Ellis Posted November 6, 2014 Posted November 6, 2014 Only 2 choices; look for AMT or use what you have. I think the MPC is better. Its sort of a Pinto chassis, and the AMT MPC situation for that is the same.
