Finished up the Mustang. Its made from an SMBC resin body and Ford Cleveland motor, chassis is from the Jukebox Ford kit, along with some scratchbuilding and several bits from a Pro Stock Thunderbird kit. Paint is Tamiya with Model Masters clearcoat, and decals are from Slixx.

Thanks for looking,

Raisin

Great job Michael. Did you paint the Red & Blue or use decals?

Thanks Len, Some of the red is painted, but most of the graphics are from the Slixx decal sheet.

Great looking build. Excellent engine detail. You don't see many of these Mustang II's built into anything, stock or otherwise. How does the resin body compare to the production kit?

Thanks gbritnell, The resin body was mastered off the Firefighter kit so its very similar. The main differences are the wheel wells being corrected and the hood changed from a stock Mustang design to the Pro Stock version that extends all the way to the windshield allowing for the proper engine set back. These along with a few other minor improvements make it a nice piece to work with.

Wow that's a killer looking build raisin, great job at matching the paint and decal color you can't tell in the pics which is which. You nailed the stance on this one as well. My fave is still the superfly because I like the color scheme better on it. I'd also like to see a pic of the Superfly and this one side by side if you get time. Looks like an exact rep to the 1:1 nice job
