Everyone knows now that the Dukes were really just XTC masquerading as this new 60s psychedelic band but when Virgin first released the record they never let on that it was an XTC side project.

About the same the whole grunge scene was taking off mainly in Seattle, another scene was starting to happen half a world away in Dunedin New Zealand. At the top of the heap amongst these bands was The Chills. I remember buying this on vinyl and still like to listen to it today.
