fantacmet Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Ok ok ok, so what is it with these concrete pumpers? I see one the other day called Putzmeister, and here tonight I see one called Schwing? Please tell me this is a huge joke. WOW. Sure is funny though. I almost wrecked my SUV when I saw putzmeister I was laughing so hard.
Superpeterbilt Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Ooooohhhhhh! Never heard that term before Sam, a glider kit is a chassis with the cab and hood, without the rears or the motor and trans. It was a way to get a new truck without getting a new truck. It was great for a wrecked truck, or if your cab was falling apart before the rest of the truck(Freightliner).

fantacmet Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I know right? It's a big Whiskey Tango Foxtrot moment. Well I've got my American and POW flags hanging up from my balcony for today, and am going to go out and go shooting today while it's still legal to do so, will be illegal in 60 days, unless it's your own. You can't even show your buddy the new gun you just bought anymore, it's illegal. Ok rant on that over. Have fun today fella's.
Superpeterbilt Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 A trio of old workhorses sitting by the roadway watching the traffic drive by... I wouldn't mind rescuing that old White in the middle.
guitarsam326 Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 I wouldn't mind rescuing that old White in the middle. Then put me in for the GMC
Aaronw Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 A couple of locals often seen at old equipment shows in the area. 1947 Peterbilt logger 1948 Kenworth logger 1949 Diamond T flatbed 1960 Autocar tractor
Aaronw Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) and another local, but this old Chevy is probably past saving from the berry bushes. Not sure what it was, too big for a wrecker, maybe a well drilling rig? Edited May 26, 2015 by Aaronw
Petetrucker07 Posted May 26, 2015 Author Posted May 26, 2015 That old crane looks like it was used for loading hay.
Aaronw Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 That old crane looks like it was used for loading hay. That makes sense, they grow a lot of hay in the area. I didn't know a crane was commonly used, my limited (and unfortunate) experience with loading hay involves a lot of lifting, sneezing and itching.
1320wayne Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Here are some from my travels Gotta love the paint schemes on Wolfpack rigs If anyone has ever seen the Jason Aldean video for Night Train you will notice that his stage show entourage of trucks are featured in it. I saw all nine trucks at a T/A in Virginia back in 2013. The old Clay Millican race hauler from 2007. This is sitting like this at the Werner trailer yard in Omaha.

Basically a big road forklift. They can get a bit flashy.

I really like that second truck, the Pete. I'd drive that in a heartbeat.
kilrathy10 Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 (edited) OOOOOOOOO, Man.....I'm loving that big Allied Kenny.....And that big green and white Freightliner....Those rigs are SMOKIN' HOT !!!!!Droolin' over them..... Edited May 26, 2015 by kilrathy10
fantacmet Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Those forklifts are kinda ugly I think but I'd probably do something similar if I had one so I'm not one to talk. HAH. That old Chevy though, beautiful.

That old Chevy though, beautiful. They like driving those on the roads, even see them on the freeway sometimes. Seems like it wouod be dangerous if someone got hit by a forklift doing 65mph or more.
10thumbs Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Hi guys, here's kind of a cool rig too. Probably one of a kind! Courtesy, Iran Gas and Electric. Michael
Old Buckaroo Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Here are some from my travels First seeing this I thought this was from JT's workbench.
kilrathy10 Posted May 28, 2015 Posted May 28, 2015 Oh, yeah....You KNOW that's on the list of future builds.....
Petetrucker07 Posted June 6, 2015 Author Posted June 6, 2015 Saw this while sittin at a stop light today.
