tom.ulmer Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Hi All, just got back into modeling after a loooong time. I think the last time I built something was around 20 years ago at least. For the last 10 years or so Ive been racing RC cars regularly in the summer. I needed a new winter hobby and so I decided to give models a try again. Ive always enjoyed building just about anything (one of the reasons I like RC so much). So the first kit is a 67 Chevelle Prostreet I certainly learned a few lessons along the way so I cant wait to start the next project. I got the bug I can tell you that much as I already have a few kits lined up and plenty of paints and other building tools and items on the way. Here are a few pics I took along the way (be nice!) http://s15.photobucket.com/user/killabud/Model%20Cars/story

DumpyDan Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Welcome back Tom, glad your back now go out and get some kits, more is better.
tom.ulmer Posted December 10, 2014 Author Posted December 10, 2014 Thanks guys. I've learned a ton from these forums already. I have a handful of kits to build as well. Just starting a 67 vette that I'm building for my dad as a bday present. He had one of these cars for many years so I thought I'd build a replica for him. Speaking of, where can I get a set of 1/24-25 headphones? Pops corvette was so loud back in the day that he had headphones hooked up to the radio, lol. I'd love to get something I can sit on the passenger seat for that extra personalization.
