landman Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 What is the suggested product or type of product to clearcoat paper?
DrGlueblob Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I'm not sure I understand your question. I use Krylon Artist's Fixative for drawings and such, and I've had good luck using Floquil Crystal Cote to bring back old decals.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Can't you just use regular clearcoat on paper?
Pete J. Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I just used some TS 13 Tamiya clear to seal the printing on paper label for a CD I am making. It was inkjet paper and I put a fairly heavy couple of coats on. It sealed the paper and made it less vulnerable to water. The ultimate finish was matt but it seemed to work ok. What is it that you are trying to do?
StevenGuthmiller Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Can't you just use regular clearcoat on paper? I've sprayed Testors clear lacquer over decal paper after printing homemade decals. works just fine. Guess it all depends on what kind of paper you're talking about. Steve
