Rigzndiesel Posted January 12, 2015 Author Posted January 12, 2015 A little progress today. Stacks built and painted, tanks painted and luberfiner painted.
Old Buckaroo Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Fantastic looking wrecker, nice work on the lift whatever you call it . I like the deck clutter. I have always wanted to have just a rim with the sidewalls flopping around in there loose, just like a real blowout !
tbill Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 that looks great, nice rebuild on a cool old wrecker.
Petetrucker07 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Looks good man. I like the secured tools in the back.
Rigzndiesel Posted January 21, 2015 Author Posted January 21, 2015 Thanks for the comments. Clayton - thanks for sharing your ideas for the broom/shovel rack and Diesel/Gas holders. The box for my binders is a Mercury bunk sleeper/cab pass through piece. Just a few more items and it's finished. I'd like to put on a couple of lights for the wrecker deck as a lot of responses happen in the late night hours. I know from my experience 75% of my breakdowns were at night. I've had to sit in the bunk for hours waiting for roadside service....my hats off to these experts as this is a dangerous and under appreciated career field but much needed. Jeff
kilrathy10 Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Nice work, Man....This is a good looking rebuild.....Amazing what you can do with this thing.....
Rigzndiesel Posted January 23, 2015 Author Posted January 23, 2015 Calling this one done and put on shelf. Not sure how to delete this thread and move it to the completed section. I'm using IE and I think it's limited my editing capabilities. Any pointers welcome... Jeff
Old Buckaroo Posted January 23, 2015 Posted January 23, 2015 Dont delete the thread, nothing is worse then looking for a "certain build" and find one with all the content removed. Just start another one "Under Glass" with the Finished pictures. The wrecker looks great, I really like the safety bumper. He is going to have a tough time getting hooked to that KW.
FullPowerGarage Posted January 24, 2015 Posted January 24, 2015 Nice work! Really like it! The colors fit well and its totally not overdone!
