bogger44 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I finished this one earlier today. It's the Revell kit with added wiring under the hood. The decals were a royal pain to get settled down decently (particularly the blue ones). Speaking of decals, the Goodyear logos for the fenders were not included on the sheet, so I found some in my parts box and added them (along with the tire lettering). Aside from the decaling it was an enjoyable build.
Speedfreak Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Overall that looks very nice Tony, sharp looking model. Presents well, that color scheme just looks good! That's a lot of decal work for sure.
slusher Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 (edited) Great build Tony. Real nice work. You can post finished cars in under glass now Tony even if its drag cars... Edited January 4, 2015 by slusher
W-409 Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 I can imagine the pain when decaling that one. I'm always really nervous when installing bigger decals than those little sponsor decals and I bet this wasn't easy! It looks very good though. Nice paint and detailing too, engine looks really sharp. Glad to see one of these being built. And BTW: Great to see a Drag Car posted in Drag Racing Models section. In Under Glass they seem to get lost between other models.
Speedfreak Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Us drag freaks gotta stick together!!!!!!!!!!!!! United we stand!!!!!!!
