Darryl, awesome detail, beautiful build! Where did you get those front wheels? Look like American Trakstars!

Thanks Todd...The front wheels are made from pieces out of my parts box. The wheel centers are actually wheel backs that are turned around to look like wheel fronts. I don't have a clue what kit they came out of though. I added some chrome trim rings from a funny car kit and they turned out pretty nice. Thanks again!

Thanks Bob.....On this chassis from a pro stock kit it did require some modifications because its putting a 1/24 pan into a 1/25 body. I cut the entire wheel tub section off of the pan and removed a 1/4 inch section from the wheel tubs (because the tubs are too tall to fit up into the body) and reattached it to the pan. I also cut off the trunk area floor and cut a new piece of plastic for that as well. The front frame rails were also shortened (length and height wise) and I scratched a new roll cage and wheelie wheels. I didn't have to narrow the pan as it fit just fine width wise. Thanks!

Thanks . Do you prefer the revell sportsman kits for ghese conversions? Edited by bobthehobbyguy

Bob, I do prefer the pro sportsman chassis pans for the simple reason that they seem more modern than some others. Even though they will fit most bodies with relative ease...They will almost always require modification also, but it may not be as drastic or as much cutting as it is on the older pro stock chassis.

Daryl, Did u ad on the front frame and rails to get the Gas tank mounted up front?

Again....Thanks guys! Alan, what you can't see in the pics is a small bar attached to the frame that wraps around the fuel cell..it is 1/16 rod. I added a piece of sheet plastic to the bottom of the fuel cell/frame to cover up the hollow place in the bottom of the tank.
