Ace-Garageguy Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 I have no idea, but it sure is cool. The leaning overpass is a little jarring though. Makes it all look just slightly post-apocalyptic.
John Goschke Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Aurora "O" gauge Super Model Motoring set. Not the exact one below but the cars are the same. That illustration may be for another set, an ad, or a catalog illustration. Possibly by the great Mort Kuntsler (Google him!)
Greg Myers Posted February 2, 2015 Author Posted February 2, 2015 That's kinda what I was thinking John.
62rebel Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 those 4-color registration marks show attention to detail that went by the wayside in later years... i've seen those marks off by several 16'ths in some instances.
Greg Myers Posted February 4, 2015 Author Posted February 4, 2015 They got some mileage outta that one
B-Ram Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Wow. Those Aurora kits bring back memories when I was a kid.
Danno Posted February 15, 2015 Posted February 15, 2015 That '32 Skiddoo' kit always reminds me of the original iteration of the Lil Coffin . . . before it was christened the 'Lil Coffin' . . . when Dave Stuckey first built it. Before he put this grille shell on it, he ran it with a '32 shell.
Greg Myers Posted February 15, 2015 Author Posted February 15, 2015 Yes he did. http://www.kustomrama.com/index.php?title=Dave_Stuckey%27s_Lil%27_Coffin
