Igor Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 (edited) So, I'm willing to say that it is about 99% done. I guess I jinxed myself and will be working on it the night before the show... Edited April 21, 2017 by Igor
Igor Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 A whole lot of time and work has been put into what was supposed to be a quick and simple build (see first post). It has taken me about two years, on and off. But, despite it's problems, and there are many, I think, if I was to build a second one, right now, knowing what I know about building this one, twice, I think I could turn this into a decent model. Not one of the greatest ones out there, and definitely not one that a beginner would want to cut his teeth on, but, with some time, effort, and research into other's experience with it. I think it can be used as the basis for a decent model. Not by ME, of course!
Igor Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 Looking forward to starting something new on Monday...
Igor Posted April 21, 2017 Author Posted April 21, 2017 By the way, just to clarify, the toothpick was only left in to let the glue dry, it's out now
fairlane1320 Posted April 21, 2017 Posted April 21, 2017 Looks Great!!!...I'm kind of partial to 1968-69s
Fast Floyd 2 Posted April 25, 2017 Posted April 25, 2017 (edited) Looks Killer, Igor, fairlane1320, I am a big fan of the 68-69 Fairlane/Torinos too. I have a few built. I Drag Raced a 68 GT fastback, with a 427 4 speed for about 4 years. I retired it, when I built my tube chassis 65 Fastback Mustang. Here are a few of my AMT 69's Edited April 25, 2017 by Fast Floyd 2 left something out
