mschlem66n Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Have to say there is some awesome talent here !! I have been into model cars for about 30 + years. Now that the family is grown up and I have time for myself now,I am trying to get back in it more... About 2 yrs ago I went to my first nnl in Toledo, wow !! times have changed from buying 10 models to build 1cool one ...Well anyhow I usually build 1/24 and 1/25 scale cars and trucks. my faves are drag or pro street, and custom and monster trucks. My problem is my 66 pro street Nova I`m working on.The chassis looks nice, the body turned out sweet so now I`m asking myself...do I go crazy with the interior and motor or do I just make a sweet shelf model....
disabled modeler Posted February 13, 2015 Posted February 13, 2015 Welcome Mark!... Build as you feel it should be it only has to make you happy. I am into factory stock...2door,4door,wagons,vans,pickups,campers,semi,trailers,farm/construction,speed/pleasure boats and a few dioramas of the very late 50s through mid 80s body styles.
mschlem66n Posted February 14, 2015 Author Posted February 14, 2015 Thanks guys !..look forward to being a part of this group .Seems like over time sometimes people are so involved in proper placement or look or whatever the case may be,they forget to have fun with the project they are working on..Hopefully I`ll have some pics up this weekend of some of my projects :D
DumpyDan Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Hey Mark welcome, show us some pictures I think we would all like to see them.
Foxer Posted February 14, 2015 Posted February 14, 2015 Welcome, Mark. I went to school in Angola a long time ago. Had many trips to and thru South Bend. Some friends lived there down 20. Just good times remembered from there despite the face for this New Englander that there was more corn than trees.
mschlem66n Posted February 17, 2015 Author Posted February 17, 2015 ya Mike..not much corn here now..malls and sub-divisions...thanks for the welcome everyone !!
