That looks very good, is the kit more detailed than the promo version?

Nice build. I wish there were some early Ranger kits out there (83-85). I have a built up 1:1 Ranger that I would love to build a model of. May have to try out my styrene skills one of these days.

Thanks Gaute and S.M. for your positive comments..

I Really wish I could answer that but I don't know anything about the promo version. This is a really good kit. The front I beams and front suspenstion is a little tricky but a real good kit and nice 2.4 cyl engine. Thanks for your comment...

Well, if it has an engine then it must be more detailed than the promo. I got a promo of the 94 and it has an all-molded-in chassis, metalaxels, snapped-in-place taillights, no engine (bonnet is molded shut) and snapped-in-place mirrors that seem to be made of rubber. It also has a singlepiece grille with molded in headlamps. Got stickers instead of decals for emblems.

Glad to see this. I too am a fan of the ford ranger. No one ever builds them.

Great job too. I hope your build inspires more mini truck builds. I may break out my old King cab project.

Great build! I really like it! This is a quad in the rear of the truck? Is 1/25?

Thank you Jose.

Thank you very much Oscar

Very cool. I'm working on one of these kits right now.

Carl, that looks really great. You laid down a nice, smooth and glossy paint job.

Another nice, clean build Carl! You don't see these built too often. I gotta agree with the others, that quad is a perfect size and looks great in the bed. I own a Ranger too (daily driver), a 2002 extended cab 4x4 that I've racked up nearly 130,000 miles on (157,000 total on truck) with very little problems. They are/were great little trucks.

It's a shame Ford discontinued the Ranger. I manage a fleet of Rangers and they've grown on me over the years. One thing caught my eye right away, seat color looks right on. My fleet runs steel rims, but I have one with the aluminum rims like yours, it's my favorite. Nice paint work Carl.

Nice work we need to see more rangers here

Thanks Jake

Thanks Buzz. I owned a 82 Ford full size and a 94 Ranger never any trouble and great driving trucks. Had 2 Dodges 77 and a 80 also great but the fords drove much better...

This is a good looking truck Carl.

Did this give you any fits going together?

Thanks Andy, no a really good kit and fun to build. One of the best Amt kits around....
