suggy60 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Hi All Been looking on this forum for a while since I got back into modelling about 3 years ago and finally taken the plunge to introduce myself. So a brief bit about me: did a bit of modelling when I was a kid, longer than I care to remember, and got back into it a few years ago when the wife suggested I got myself a hobby. Had a look at what I fancied doing and always found myself looking at model kits so thought 'why not?' and went for it. Modelling history since I started again consists of a Volvo Truck, Space Shuttle and Boosters, 6-wheeled Tyrrell (F1) and Predator 108 boat, so you can see I'm not exactly prolific, though I don't always have as much time to work on models as I would like and I am very much learning as I go. Stash currently consists of 3 x F1 cars (1/12th scale), Revell Peterbilt Wrecker, Revell Routemaster Bus and Revell Neoplan Coach. Am currently working on the Moebius Lonestar with Revell instructions. Didn't start taking photos as wasn't planning on posting a WIP but may take some this weekend if time permits (currently have assembled the engine). Been looking at some of the fantastic models on here and hoping to pick up a few tips and tricks from you guys,
Petetrucker07 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Welcome to forum. Lookin forward to seeing what your working on.

HotRodaSaurus Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) Yes welcome from one Englander to another . have to admit I have been a bit dormant myself. Started a Tamaya Hayabusa about 3 years ago then decided to move house but have a lot more to finish hidden away in boxes. Do you visit any contests? Not much happening as far as I know but I am a bit out of touch at the moment. The NSRA swap meet here in Essex is always a good place to pick up a few models, I know they have a meeting in Rotheram or Sheffield too. Anyway, look forward to seeing some great models and ideas. See ya, John Edited February 20, 2015 by HotRodaSaurus
maltsr Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Hi and a big welcome from me too. Born and bred in Halifax, moved to NZ when I was 50. Furthermore, Kiwis call NZ God's own country!
suggy60 Posted February 21, 2015 Author Posted February 21, 2015 Hi Guys, thanks for the welcome. John, not had the chance to go to any contests at the moment, my wife runs her own business and I spend a good chunk of my spare time helping her out. Not had chance to get any photos taken today, will try and sort something out tomorrow if time permits.
