JollySipper Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 After 3 years of dumb questions, half-built models, and otherwise inane posts, I finally hit the 500 posts mark! It may not show in my builds, but I've learned a lot from you guys, so much that I will never be able to repay........
disabled modeler Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Actually the only dumb questions are the ones that are not asked...one can not learn some things without asking...I still learn something new almost every day.
Zandmann Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 My dad used to say that there are no stupid questions, only stupid answers.
Greg Myers Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Don't be afraid to ask dumb questions. They're easier to answer than the hard ones. I had a sign made of this hanging in my classroom.
Ramfins59 Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 We all learn a lot of great modeling stuff here on this Forum.
Chuck Most Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 There most certainly is such a thing as a dumb question. But the fact is that the overwhelming majority are NOT. If you learned something by asking a question, then it wasn't a dumb question at all. That's the way I see it, anyway. Never be afraid to ask, even if you think you'll look stupid for asking your question. What's that old saying... "It's better to ask a question and look like a fool for a moment, than to not ask a question and remain a fool forever".
Greg Myers Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 More wisdom. Or is it Most wisdom. Very well spoken at any rate.
