Ace-Garageguy Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Beautifully proportioned, modified and finished model...even more remarkable considering it started as a gluebomb. Great shot of it with your take on the much-maligned Lindberg '40. Just goes to show what can be accomplished by putting some effort into something rather than complaining or giving up. Inspiring stuff here.
Sledsel Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Great kit and great build. Good looking chop too! I am chopping on now and it is not an easy one.
wayne swayze Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Both cars are really well done. The green AMT is a walk back to the 50's! Tell us about the front "nerf" bar...is it scratchbuilt?
Joker Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Thanks Y'all. @ Wayne... My bumper inspiration came from this image. Stretched some sprue and bent it to shape then I painted it silver. Andy... This is a WIP pic of the Forty. You can see my cut lines. The rain gutters were replaced with stretched sprue.
om617 Posted March 14, 2015 Posted March 14, 2015 Great looking 40,love the blue on too,great builds.
