I think you have to use their "foam safe" (Gold or Gold+) CAs to get the no-fogging benefits...

I was just going to ask, what CA's are safe for clear plastic

My Camaro's windshield had lots of reverse pressure against the bottom edge, because the top edge had locator tabs/dimples - that was a breeze just with Jewel-It. I tried Jewel-It alone on the bottom edge, but because of the reverse pressure, it kept lifting, even after 3 mintues of holding it down. So, I used Bob Smith's Gold CA and Insta-Set - absolutely no fogging, and the windshield hasn't budged, even after final assembly!

Here is my practical solution. Don't use CA around clear parts. Pacer/Zap makes a canopy glue for R/C aircraft that is just impossible to beat. It is called Formula 560 and you get it in the R/C section. It is a white glue that tacks very quickly, cleans up with water and dries perfectly clear. It is all so a little bit flexible so your parts won't pop off like they can with super glue. Here is the page for the company and product. http://www.supergluecorp.com/zap/zap-glues/formula-560-canopy-glue In many ways it is like Microscale Krystal Klear but much better. Once you use it you will never use Krystal Klear or superglue on clear parts again. Great stuff!

It is good stuff, I have a bottle of it , I have been trying out Loctite's G02 Glue, its like a super glue that dries crystal clear, now the issues with it, one, it takes a good time for it set, so they are many times that you have to put pressure on whatever part, two, while it does clear, you can still see the bead.

Testors clear cement for windows is the bomb. It comes out milky white, but dries completely invisible and wont harm your clear part or your paint. It comes in a weird shaped bottle with a long thin spout. Very easy to control the amount of glue. It takes 24 hours to completely dry but that's OK. Gives you time to work on something else.
