Superpeterbilt Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Hey Guys, Old Buckaroo and I were talking about doing some Mack builds in the month of April. We want to get some others in on it, so if anyone is interested get your kits ready and lets do it! I myself am going to pull a Mack AC double build. We can start a group thread or do them seperately. So, is anyone down?
guitarsam326 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Man, I'd love too if I didn't have the paystar on the bench, but I will be watching!

Sam - there is nothing wrong with working on more then one truck at a time . I am looking forward to it as I have a kit or two I would like to build and maybe a surprise thrown in . Superpeterbilt Posted March 12, 2015 Author Posted March 12, 2015 Maybe we can extend it through May so I can finally get to my pile of R models and build a R700.
Petetrucker07 Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Sorry fellas, April will more than likely be a Pete month for me, a 389, 367 and and another couple 359s. Besides, no Mack in the stash.

That's what's wrong with my head now, its full of diesel fumes and plastic!
Jim B Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Sounds interesting, and I'll definately be watching you progress. I have a DM609 mixer planned, but there is no way I'll be able to build it in a month. Maybe a year, but not a month.
Tesla Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 Aw man, I've got 2 Mack AC kits waiting to be built. One will definitely be a concrete mixer Right now I've got the dozer and just started the trailer for it. Both of these take up a lot of real estate!
Jim B Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 A Mack AC mixer would be cool. What mixer would you use? As far as I know there are no 1920s era mixers on the market.

Mackvision Posted March 12, 2015 Posted March 12, 2015 (edited) <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< I will be watching this! tbill Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 eh...we got a time frame for this? I have some mack kits I can build, but are we talking done in april, or start in april and what happens happens?? I am slow to build as you all know, and have the titan and car hauler on the bench now, so, if time frame is no issue, i'd be in.

Were just going to build some Macks in April. The winner gets a 40% off coupon to hobby lobby everyday for the forseeable future
tbill Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 lol, well, I am in then now, will it be an R model, a cruise liner, or a super liner...........
Superpeterbilt Posted March 13, 2015 Author Posted March 13, 2015 Here are the two kits I will be building. I will be adding resin wheels to both, and a backdated Cummins HB600 to one of them.
Old Buckaroo Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 I just want to build a truck to where I dont have to build a custom exhaust. Terry - I have never had either of those kits.
