Best engines in 1/24 scale?

The Blue version of the old Monogram 56 Chevy has Dual Turbochargers and the Black version has a Blower with dual carbs.

Yep. However after some input from knowledgable folks here the twin turbo version is kinda bogus, so we won't include it in this discussion. Check this thread.

Historic Racing Miniatures has both Porsche 917 and Ferrari 330 engines that don't look to be bad at all. And I really wouldn't mind snagging one of Model Factory Hiro's Porsche 917/30 Engine Kits.

Yes I knew it wouldn't work as it is laid out and Monogram took some artistic freedom when they tooled it up...but it is a twin turbo set up anyway tho' it has to be corrected some.

Yeah, in the other thread someone mentioned the Accel Turbo-sonic kit. After some quick Googling, it appears that engine might have something to offer after all. A Accel Turbo-sonic setup might be doable.
