MCM Ohana (6/6)

  1. Nice save! I like the short wheelbase and the nicely detailed spoke wheels! That shorty battery box looks cool! The real battery box setup was stolen from the Astro cabover. I see what you did here, nice work and looks better than what the factory did!
  2. it is a very nice kit of a handsome truck to start with!
  3. outside pictures just make the model pop! Natural light is perfect and taking dome time to choose the background does wonders!
  4. I like it better this way myself, no gimmick!
  5. The Louisville Fords just look good with that type of wheel!
  6. It definitely is! Ford knocked it out of the park. Notice there is no air filter outside and that truck doesn't need it either.
  7. The secret is use white construction glue sparingly, dries clear, doesn't make fumes and leaves a clean lens.
  8. I love the LTL, one of my favorites for sure, I like that big hood and grille, looks unique and needs no excuse. Designers for this machine were on it!
  9. Really nicely done build. As clean as a whistle! Good job!
  10. Thanks for all the nice comments guys!
  11. Nice clean build, love the colors you used! Very nice!
  12. Not suprized to see the award behind this build! Outstanding is the word. A very appealing, clean build of a well known subject with a twist! Great job!
  13. That really turned out great! An excellent build of a really nice looking truck! Love the stripes!!
  14. I Had a couple cans of Tamiya metallic orange spray paint and was wondering what to paint with them... Found it! I already had a daycab LTL, found a large flat roof bunk in a freightliner kit and also had a decent set of spoke wheels so off I went with this Italeri ford kit! Stripes are all paint. Rear tires from Moluminum, rear spoke wheels from Auslowe (and they fit right on the Italeri hubs!) front spokes are from the Italeri accessory kit (they could have been taken off the Autralian truck all the same.) The exhaust stacks are cut from a transistor radio antenna.
