GLMFAA1
Found an old picture I believe is a Paul Koert model of a mini pumper using the old Revell Midnight Cowboy wrecker that had the modified front end in the kit. It might have also been the 'Sneaky Pete' kit I can't remember ] greg Edited May 12, 2014 by GLMFAA1

Danno
Sorry. There's just nothing legitimate that can be done with that front end, IMHO. Those kits belong in the cartoonish caricature department. Although that mini-pumper looks as good as that kit ever can. JJ Deuce
Sorry. There's just nothing legitimate that can be done with that front end, IMHO. Those kits belong in the cartoonish caricature department. Although that mini-pumper looks as good as that kit ever can. The '70s were chock full of weird stuff like that. That old Sneaky Pete kit was a perfect representation of the Big rig and CB craze. The kit has some issues but I think the Pete nose is pretty cool.
PaulK
That the Mini-Pumper I built in the 80's. I used the Blueprints of the Pierce we had to build it. Paul Koert
62rebel
i carried the wrecker bed parts back from Virginia to Great Lakes NTC in my briefcase so they wouldn't get crushed in the luggage hold... the girl doing the screening looked at the xray image on the screen and couldn't figure out what they were, so I had to open it and show her. this was WAY before 9/11.... 1987 I think. I put that bed on the Hardcastle pickup frame..... not correct but it beat the heck out of the Revell kit frame. I wouldn't mind having a case of those Midnite Cowboy kits today.
