Nice... but why did you leave the chrome side trim in place and paint over it??? B)

This was a quick build. The body was painted. Besides minor sanding, and flash cleanup, my body work skills are not the best.

Beautiful build...Drew!!! I am still getting (adding) some tools to my hobby, to do more involved things.

Like I stated, the body was painted, and I did not want to mess it up, so I just left it alone.

Removing the side trim from a '64 isn't as tough as it looks, give it a try on your next one.

Just take your time and it will come out just fine.

Drew, I remember seeing this model posted in Scale Auto a while back. Awesome job on it. Sure miss reading your column there.

Try removing the trim from a 63 Galaxie after that the 64 will seem easy! B)

Still a nice clean build of a great subject! One of the few drivers I have a autograph from. My uncle got it the morning before his last race.
