davysmodels
Need some help - I am looking for 1-25 scale animals for a diorama. Specifically dogs: german shepard (needed first choice), and some other types are ok. Would 1-32 or one of the smaller Train scale dogs be close in size to 1-25. Close in size is OK (just not bigger in scale). The dog needs to be sitting next to a 1-25 scale model car. Any info as to what companies sell them is appreciated. Thanks for the help. VW Dave
If you have a model railroad shop within reach, see them; G-gauge animals by the German company Preiser are about the best I've seen....they're not cheap at all, but well worth it IMO. All of their animals come prepainted, and the version of G that they work from is 1/22.5 so it's very close to our 1/24-1/25. While not technicaly a 'diorama' per se, I used Preiser pigs for my Jurassic Pork rig. My local model RR shop had them on sale because they were discontinued. mr moto
Here you go! There's plenty of 'em on Ebay. The actual link is so long that I won't post it but this is how you get there once you're in Ebay-land. Toys & Hobbies> Models, Kits> Search Results for 'dog' And here's a seller with an Ebay store that has lots of different breeds in 1/25: http://stores.ebay.com/My-Shack-Diecast-and-Resin
m408
hobbylinc.com has all kinds of 1:25 scale animals. Mainly farm stuff, but also some dogs. German Shepard for about $7.00.

I got a German Shepherd, Rottweiler, Yorkie, and Westie. I'd like to find a 1:25th scale Australian Terrier like my Nauti (my dog in my avatar). She looks like a slightly larger Yorkie. If you can find some of the "Homies" figures, most of their dogs are in pretty much the right scale, unlike the people that are a little small. Paul Payne
A. C. Moore has soft plastic animal figures of all sorts that look to be right for 1/25th scale. Not too expensive, either.
