Petetrucker07
Im gonna give this 1 a shot. It will not be box stock. Im gonna go for a streetable rock crawler. To me, the tires are too big for this to sit at kit height. I dont like the kit roll bar. The kit bumpers look ok, might stick with em, maybe not. Fenders will be modified. Aaronw
I like this kit, it is a beginner level kit, but it still offers a lot for a more experienced modeler who wants to make some changes or add detail.Jake, there have been a fair number of these posted over the past year or so since this kit came out. Good luck introducing your son to models, with a little adult supervision I think this is a nice kit for a young modeler. It is fairly complex for a snap kit so it will take a little time to get it done and it is tough enough to hold up to being played with when he is finished.http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93996&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=90730&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=88968&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86363&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=86177&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=85168&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=81709&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79485&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=79044&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=78208&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=77453&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubiconhttp://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=76512&hl=%2Bjeep+%2Brubicon Edited January 19, 2015 by Aaronw

Brizio
Looks a fun kit to build!
heepey
I've done a few of these in die-cast. It is a fun little build with a host of possibilities for modifications. The plastic version is much easier to work with. Somehow I missed most of the posts of builds but there are some great builds that have been on here. Petetrucker07
There are a few running around my town that look like mild rock crawlers. I'm planning on doing tube style fenders, custom roll bar, and trying to modify the axles, beef up and widen them.
