I remember in the late '70s/early '80s my older brother built the Revell '57 Chevy (opening doors, hood and trunk) to match his 1:1 Bel Air. It came out perfect. He even wired in working headlights, which was a total mind blower for this young model builder. Shortly after finishing it, one morning he proudly displayed it on the rear package shelf of his 1:1 '57 and drove it to school to show his friends. When he came out to the parking lot at lunch time, the afternoon sun had taken its toll and it looked a lot like your model, Bernard. The roof was sunken down and the doors popped and twisted. He was heartbroken.
I really liked the body mods and color. Sure hope you replicate it again.
