Thanks so much everybody.

Charlie, after some experimentation I wound up airbrushing a mix of Zero acrylics with Alclad Chrome (!), one colour for the dash and another for the seats and walls. The walls needed a second, darker colour also, according to the only photos I could find and I did that with a Humbrol mix. I always mix my own colours, with varying degrees of success, but I have done it in the past professionally for the graphic industry and enjoy that aspect of painting.

Very nice build of one of the finest looking cars of the '60s! The Engine Detail is very nice, and of course it is great to see a W-Block under the hood. Excellent paint work also and the look of this car is just perfect. Tires and all are just like 1:1 pieces. Incredible work.

Being a Razorback Fan myself, I must say that I like the build!! Very nice car,

especially the License Plate!!! :) I'm working on a 64 myself.

Anyway, I do have a question for you. Can you describe this "BMF before Paint"

Method? Not sure I've heard of that but apparently it works pretty well based

on the pics of your car!

Nice Job!

Steve

I've described the method here somewhere but it's well buried. I'll do a tutorial soon.

EDIT..... Check out Marcos Cruz' recent Opel in Under Glass. He describes the BMF before Paint technique - that's pretty much what I do.
