MsDano85gt
I have limited internet use every month (most of which i use up here at good old mcm) But Folks should look up " Me First And the Gimme Gimme's" they do alot of (cover) songs old and new stuff for instance (somewhere over the rainbow, or who put the bop in the bop sha bop) they basically punk ruck the older songs with very fast upbeat tempo very cool though! i dig them i have 3 of their albums
Harry P.
Craig, a perfect example of what I'm talking about. It's amazing how much stuff I always thought was their original material was actually lifted from other people's songs. Sometimes they reworked it a lot... sometimes they just took it almost word for word, note for note.
Craig Irwin
I found this one about a month ago, I just love Shirley Manson's vocals and this duet works well. And yes that little girl just SHREADS that guitar!

LDO
The Wolfgang Press covering "Mama Told Me Not To Come", an old Three Dog Night song. I heard this years ago in the movie "Party Girl", starring Parker Posey. I watched it with an Army buddy whose taste was...eh, well...different. Neither of us really fit in. We both got out after one term of enlistment. Good guy, though. I still hear from him occasionally.

Craig Irwin
Most will remember this as a CCR song from about 1969, or a Marilin Manson song from more recently, but the truth is that even in 1959 this was a cover already.

Craig Irwin
As a BIG Janis Joplin fan it seems sacrilegious to cover anything she did but I like Katie's version. Not better, just different. (Jazzier)
