Lovely Elco, great colors, stance and detail. Well Done!

My work in Construction management has taken me out of town, living in a hotel for two weeks at a time for several months. Here's a couple links to some others I'm working on. It really helps with the down time.

I brought this home for the holiday in hopes of painting it. And I actually completed it instead. This kit while being almost a snap kit, is well engineered and easy to assemble. I enjoyed putting it together.

Hotel life is challenging to say the least. Tough scratch building without my home bench, tools and pieces about me. But it does allow me to focus on detail and when I can’t do a certain task I note that for when I am at my bench or if I’m able I’ll bring pieces back with me.

This a very interesting build, I really like your roof chop technique. Looking forward to more of this one....

In a hobby with aging customers, such as modeling, it makes sense to evoke young memories and capture or dare I say recapture the spirit of building. I enjoy seeing the reissues and like the upgrades the manufacturers are doing with the kits. At this stage of my life, I couldn't possibly build the kits I have. And though I don't purchase many new kits these days, once in a while a re-release can be hard to ignore. Happy modeling.....

Brought the Show Rod to the hotel this time with a few things to help me along. Frame is puttied and I need to build a manifold for the twin blowers. It’s frustrating not having all my hobby supplies at an arms length!
