Looking for HO G Plus chassis
08 April 2010 - 06:51 AM
I am looking for junk, bare or non-working HO AFX G Plus chassis. The only part they need to have is the brush barrel clip. I have all the other parts to rebuild. It turns out the brush barrel clip is the only part not available from anyone out there. I have tried them all. I would like to get up to 20 chassis. Anybody have any they would like to part with?
Twilight Zone prices

I have been a bit ill with a cold as of late but until a browsing session yesterday on eBay did I realize just how sick I may be. I think I am hallucinating. I found a seller, damaze5, who has some out there prices on some old kits (my opinion). I have a couple of the kits he has posted and had no idea I could pay two months rent with them. All I can say is WOW.

I've read up on taking macro pictures and I think I need a new camera. I will have to let daughter dear know my Christmas gift wish. LOL. These are a few close ups of the Gene Snow engine. I am finding out my camera's macro setting leaves a bit to be desired. Maybe I am too picky with these? What can I say, I bought it for $50 about 6 years ago. It still takes gorgeous people and places shots though.

Thanks for looking

I promised some of the guys I have met here I would post some pics of my builds. This is a first for me. I am a bit shy about showing my models. I also need to figure out how to take better pictures with my cheapo camera. It takes great people and location pictures but the macro feature is a pain to figure out. I will post a few more after the camera is set better.
Having said that, here they are.
I tried to back date the 1/20 scale MPC McLaren M8D to a private owner M8B. Done in black w/silver here and there with all white decals.
The 22 Jr dragster in Tamiya lacquer pearl white. My best paint job so far, I couldn't bring myself to put decals on it.
The Pro-Modeler '69 Charger in Krylon Sunshine yellow.
Italeri's Ferrari 250 GTO.
