1948 Ford Custom "Black Magic"

29 March 2013 - 09:36 AM

I call this one "Black Magic". Took me about 2 months to complete this build it's all box stock and painted with rustoleum gloss black. This is only the second time I have painted a model black and i think it came out pretty good, the pictures do not really do the paint justice. I forgot to get a picture of the interior before I put it together, but its just red and white. I'm really satisfied with the way this one came out. All comments welcome! Thanks for looking!

1964 GTO Bracket Car

17 December 2012 - 03:09 PM

Got the Goat finished over the weekend. I built it as a weekend racer or street and strip car. My first ever drag car so I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out, not my best but it's still nice. I scratchbuilt the roll bar, put a 396 in from another kit, drag slicks from revell 68 doge charger, not very detailed just a quick build for me. Here's the link to WIP: http://www.modelcars...showtopic=66082 Thanks to everyone who followed the build, enjoy the picutres

1964 GTO Street and Strip

05 November 2012 - 08:40 PM

Bought this kit a couple of months ago with plans on building it factory stock but decided making it a street and strip car would be cooler. I had a 396 engine that I wasn't going to use that fit with no problems so I decided it would be great to use for the car. I also am working on a roll bar for it which is something that is knew to me and I think so far it is turning out great. All comments and suggestions are welcome since building drag cars is something I usually don't do.

I thought it would look good if I painted the heads to make them look aluminium not sure if I am going to keep them like that though.
