  1. So... after the self imposed order to stay home this weekend and the fact it was raining. I was able to put the front end together, and add a few little items on the instrument panel. Thank again Chris
  2. So I spent a good portion of my afternoon and evening installing the exhaust and other tid bits and also connecting the gear box to the engine. As I get further into this, I am pleased with the direction I am going on, but it has been a little nerve racking at times, and I do walk away from it for a while, just to clear my head and refocus. Thank you again for your support Chris
  3. Nope they came anodized, I am super happy with them.
  4. Thank you very much Tim, it’s really appreciated! My hope is to do this build some justice.
  5. Outstanding build you have. I like the colors. Looks much better than the wolf livery.
  6. They only advertise on FB, Messenger is my only contact with them. you may need to bite the bullet. He does stuff as small as slot cars, I think I was the first one who requested 1/12 .
  7. Mail call...I wish to thank Dancing Bear Scale Product’s for the outstanding craftsmanship on these wheels!!
  8. Update... I finally have something new to show, I have been waiting on a few tid bits from R B Motion (thanks again!!) And after a disastrous reaction on using the wrong clear on the engine I feel confident enough to show you all where I am at. Thank you all for looking chris
  9. I received some RB motion fittings in this week and I was able to put the front brakes together! still waiting on more stuff, but I am slowly making some progress. Thanks again Chris
  10. Thank you for the web link!! I had to order more fittings from RB Motion, the kit doesn’t have brake lines, so I’m going to try ?
  11. Looks like fun! Are you going to change the color? Do tell... keep us informed Bruce!!
  12. A small update... I am at the mercy of the post office and other parcel services. I am waiting for some items to add some extra detail that are not part of the kit. I am also doing some research on wiring and plumbing and I seem to only get photos of half of what I am looking for... so this is where I sit anxiously waiting for mail. thanks for looking Chris
  13. I did spend some of my super bowl Sunday getting some bench time. made some seat belts, assembled the shifter. I put the radiators on and put on one of the hard lines. I was going to install the gas tank and oil cooler, but I’m going to wait until I assemble the engine and get that installed first. I figured it would be easier to do it this way, than work around the tanks. Thank again for looking Chris
  14. I finally got some decent weather to do some painting. i was able to paint the radiators, oil cooler and gas tank with Alclad polished aluminum. I also added some RB Motion fittings and some PE screens. hope you like Chris
  15. So after around 8 hours or so of trying to get the rest of the tub finished. This is where I am at. I am happy with most of this, would like to get the gaps a little better. thanks again Chris
  16. I got a little more done this evening... slowly making progress on the tub.
  17. Yea getting old does suck. My ? aren’t as good as the used to be. I do need to some clean up where I can.
  18. Just a small update. Mostly putting photo etched parts on the tub. The scale motor sports set is nice but you need to have patience, and if you don’t have a good PE bender it useless to try. I am finding out as I go. I am pleased with my progress. Thanks for looking Chris.
  19. The funny thing is I have a tumbler. It did some parts well and other parts like it never happened
