  1. Welcome back to the hobby there J - Where in Wisconsin are you located ? Joe
  2. Ya - Baseball will be here soon - I also enjoyed it when I was young - Watched my kids play as they grew up and now watch it when I can find the time between work/camping/walking the dog/cleaning the house and so on - Joe
  3. LOL Harry P - Baseball yes - Football - 3rd/4th place is better then going to the "big" game and coming home 2nd - Spring is but only a few months off and the sounds from baseball fields well be heard from one end of this country to the other - Mom's apple pie on the window sill and the smell of hot dogs on the grille - Joe
  4. Hey Harry P - There's always next years - MAYBE - MAYBE NOT - MAYBE in another 89 years - Joe
  5. Hey Rob - It's one of Revell's better kits to have come out in the past year - I have several of them and am working on different styles - I might consider building the kit in grey primer to give it a "almost" ready look for a drag car - But my plans may change as the build go's on - No matter what color you pick it's still a winner of a kit - Post more pic's as things pregress - Thanks - Joe
  6. Hey Lee - Another great build - That green really sets the car off - Outstanding - Joe
  7. Thanks - I look forward to see them in Jan. so I can give them a test drive on my 65 Chevelle AWB kit - Thanks again -Joe
  8. Hey Lee - Another great build there - Always good to see your works - Joe
  9. Hey Wayne - Being as thin as it looks how difficult is it going to be to sand out the mold line created by the molding process - Also, when will they be ready to road test? - Thanks in advance - Joe
  10. I think it's time to fing the 66 Nova in the workshop and start working on it - I think I may try to cut out the trunk like in your kit - That really adds to the kits overall looks - So real you just want to fire it up and hit the street for a bit of fun - A great build !!!!!!!
  11. Family and friends are my life - Next ofcourse comes plastic, plastic and more plastic - I build to relax and create what my mind tells me to do - Most of my creations are works in progress which is fine for me - Each kit is a starting point for the next and so on - An adventure that never stops - Family and friends are my life but plastic in in my blood - Joe

  12. That is really cool - I like the truck open and the fuel cell - Paint job is great - I can see why it to 5 months to build it takes me longer to build an engine - Great job - Keep building them - Thanks for the pics - Joe
  13. Thanks Bob - I'll have to try finding some of that Bondo material - There are a lot of auto parts/body shop places here where I live so I should be able to locate it - I'll also try out the primer you mentioned and see how it works -Thanks again - Joe
  14. Hey Bob - An outstanding paint job and decale application - My question is did you fill in the roof hatch? - The roof is so smooth - If you did fill it in, what filler did you use and what primer was used on the body - Thanks - Joe
  15. Fellow modelers - With the holiday season upon use let us not forget the ones who are away from home and the ones without homes to keep warm and dry - We are so lucky to have our friends, family members who put thier lives in harms way each day to protect our very own freedom - And for thoughs who are off to get that last minute shopping done lets think of those who may not have a warm bed to sleep in or a hot meal to eat - So if you see that little red bucket with a bell ringer working drop in what you can afford because that new model you were looking at or that can of paint can wait but these people both young and old need our help to - Protect the ones who protect this country who are away from home this hoilday seanson and the one here who protect our homes and families each and every day - Yes this maybe depressing to some but we are so very lucky to have them to give their lives each day for us so we can live the next day - Bring a smile to someone in need even if you don't know them - You'll feel good and so will they -I thank you for your time - Joe
  16. Shane - PM me an address and I'll be able to get you a set of decales - However, I will not be able to get them out in the mail till early next week - Joe
  17. Hi John - Oustanding models there - So were any of them ever produced? - I really like the first one with the inline 6's - One is good but twins are beyond words - Great job - Joe
  18. Thanks Ken - I'll check out the "on the workbench" section - I'll also do a bit more research on line to see if I can find some photo's of the car - With the price of these kits today I want to make sure all my "t's" and i"'s" are in order before I start the build - Thanks again - Joe
  19. Hi Everyone - I have a question about the resent release of the Hawaiian FC - In the instructions it staes to cut out the rear wheel wells and by the box art it appears to be so - However, the decales sheet are rounded in form and would cause a application issue - So, did the real car have rounded wheel wells or squared off ones? - I don't recall every seeing the car race and have looked at several hot rod mags but was unable to find a real photo of this car - Any help would be great - Thank you in advance - Joe
  20. HAPPY BIRTHDAY ED - MAKE IT A GREAT DAY !!!!!!!!! Joe
