Hi all, Recently someone drove it to the back of my van so I've had a month of worth, during that time I seem to have found a rather addictive new hobby of building up cars. Here is my first attempt at building up a Hasegawa 1/24 Honda Civic, this is based on a car I used to own and wish I never sold, Still got some details to finish and been a massive learning curve. Made a few mistakes and would do things a different way next time in places but the next one has arrived today so will know for next time. The wheels arrived in chrome which mine never were so these were going to need to be changed I used Halfords plastic primer as I was going to be using automotive paint to get the best colour match Lot of bits for me to start on, everything got a first coat before removing it from the sprue Ended up buying about 3 paints originally but went back for a rather few more! Final Prime on the wheels Floorpan all primed for paint. first coat down Mirrors have been primed as using automotive paint on these.

I'd like to show you some models I've built in the near past. I'll start with one of my favorite model - because I'm a Honda enthusiast. I bases on the following model kit of Tamiya: 1996 Honda Accord JACCS 1/24 Tamiya #24180*1800 I ordered the decals at http://www.scalemodellink.com because I found them on ebay.com. I like the fresh green and the golgen stripes. I finished the built after one year building time in 2014 because different issues made me to park the kit in the waiting loop. It started with the whit paint. It was horrible. A lot of spots on the body where the plastic did it's thing (ruff surface) and amazingly some silicone spots. The first time in years.... I stripped of the whole paint and restarted successfully. Then the decal set wasn't as good to handle as I supposed. After a lot of decals were on the body I decided to paint the green color by my self. The first layer of clear coat should save the decals. But I was wrong. I don't know, why some of them got off after the tape and masking film was removed. Another thing: the decals were cracked after another layer of clear coat. Good that I ordered two sheets so I was able to scan them and make some on my own. Some decals where I'm sure they'll be work because I thought the second sheet wouldn't be better to handle. So the most decals on the white paint are self made and the result after another layer of clear coat was pretty good. The last step were the golden stripes. They are made of BMF. Sealed under another (who wouldn't believe it ) layer of clear cote. Done. I completed the interior with seat belts and some flocking for the drivers seat. That was all.

Here's one I built back around '86-'87. Tamiya 1/12 Honda NSR500 Rothmans Grand Prix bike. The white paint is pretty yellowed out now from age. Found it in a box with a few other un-finished projects. I'm not gonna post a pic of the other side because a few pieces are broken off and missing from that side. But this side is still intact! I wish there was a way to remove the fairing on these bikes. There is SOOOooo much detail hidden behind it. Check it out!

I built this replica of my dad's '85 CRX Si 28 years ago for his birthday in '86. It's one of the my oldest surviving builds. I had to do a little repair work on it recently, so I cleaned it up and photographed it for my web site. You can see more pics at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/85_honda_crx_page.html

Hi everyone again, This project was all done in the scale of 1:12. After buying the bike model I've decided to build the structure around it to match the bike. This diorama was my first attempt to make this kind of art. Also this was a gift I have made for a good friend of mine, who owns the actual 1:1 scale bike. http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/20110619_014_900.jpg http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2827_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2828_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2839_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2865_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2885_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2886_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2887_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2889_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2895_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2882_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2845_900.JPG http://payload.cargocollective.com/1/3/122674/1599743/IMG_2829_900.JPG

Yes, there actually was a short lived North American Touring car series back in the '90's. It used cars very similar to Japanese and European Touring Cars that ran as an undercard to the Indy cars on road racing courses. My build is a fictional "what if" factory Honda effort for the series. You can see more pics and read all about it on my site at the link. http://www.svensworldofwheels.com/accordpage.html

Welcome to Flannery's, we may not fix your problem, but sure can make sure no one else can. This is a Tamiya CB750F in 1/12 scale, very fun build, some race parts were included, not quite up to the factory race bike Wayne Gardner standard. Enjoy

Here is the fantasy chopper that came with a Monte Carlo kit. I didn't build the car, all I wanted was the bike, LOL. So here it is, my first bike build and it is 1/25 scale.
