Hello all. I need some help. I have the Willie Borsch funny car. I need to know what model paints match the original. I have a bunch of rattle cans but nothing matches. I also have an airbrush. I can mix my own if necessary.

Thanks in advance, Rod.

The color is an odd one. It's a light, almost mustard like, orange color. I know some used the same color as the Burger King Stock car that Nemechek drove. Don't forget the car also ran a 454 Chevy at first.

But, at one point, the car was painted Gold and the engine was switched to the 392 from the Altered and the Chevy was gone.

I THINK THE ORIGINAL COLOR WAS CALLED BUTTERSCOTCH PEARL, BUT A FEW POSTS I'VE SEEN THEY USED TESTORS GRABBER ORANGE

The arm was a dummy, but it was his trademark from the Fuel Altered era so he did it for fun.
It's included in the Wildman FC kit.

I heard there was even a "Special Edition"  kit offered with a hole in the right side of the firewall offering room for his pedal to the metal.

I used a Rattle can tractor color from Tractor Supply

I would have to find the can to ck the name or number on the can

I used the Testors Grabber Orange on my fictitious Wild Willie Olds FC, which I need to finish. I think the color is very close to what is seen in the Drag Racing magazine pic that someone already uploaded. Wish I could have seen him race.
