mikemopar70
Hi folks! I'm building this one as part of a future diorama with a trailer. I done my body paint with the spay net and salt technique, a first for me. Paint is Tamiya acrylic, i've done it two tone green color and i added the trailer Hitch from Scènes unlimited wich is very good! I know, the wheels aren't finished yet, they look bizzarre at this point, but this project is coming along really fast... for me at least!! More to come soon! Flynlo
Looking god, I love the weathered paint!
espo
Great looking weathering, very realistic looking. While hard to tell from the photos, the wheels look like what I would think some old rusted wheels might look like.
mikemopar70
Here's a small update on my project. I started to work on the engine bay, more will be necessary to achieve an accurate look, i will add some dust and oïl grime. The same Salt technique was used to replicate rusted areas. Here is a view with the Wheel hubcaps i chose, because i don't like the ones in the kit! An finally a picture of the truck with a modern rendition of itself...(1997) I will complete both of these for a model club project..(Green pick up...) See ya next time with even more progress..
