Luc Janssens Posted December 10, 2017 Share Posted December 10, 2017 Briefly visited a hobby show today and talked with one of the Domino/Belkits rep's there, and the Manta won't be available till next year. While the kit is in production as I write this, they did had a small delay due to a licensing issue, nothing major, cuz the run should be done by mid next week...but it pushed back the release date a bit, so early 2018. When pushed back to next year isn't a bad thing - since it's 3 weeks away. Japan just finally got distribution of the '15 & '16 Polo WRC kits via Aoshima on December 1st. Could be, but it's my understanding that Aoshima gets their supply from Belgium from Belkits after the entire boat makes it's journey from China. I tracked the boat when they shipped the Escorts and it didn't have any stops in Japan. Maybe there's some sort of offsetting trade deal with Domino distributing Aoshima in Europe.
