KWT
Revell 98 Firebird Ramair kit... Testors Black, OOB build.. Was gonna add the decals I have for it, but they didn't cooperate... lol. Very nice kit.. I have built several of these for different family members around 1998, this is the first for me. Just as nice as I remember. As always, Thanks for looking! espo
Very nice clean looking model. I'd forget the decals since I think it would takeaway from how nice it looks without.
KWT
Thanks folks! I do appreciate it! 21 minutes ago, espo said: Very nice clean looking model. I was looking at it earlier and I kinda dig the look... and I realized I didn't put the license plate on it yet. I always seem to make them and then forget 'em. Hawk312
That looks great! Is that really Testors spray enamel black from the can? Or did you shoot it through an airbrush?
KWT
It is Testors Black straight from the can. It's the laquer black though, not enamel. I do have a 78 firebird I started working on 20yrs ago that was done with black enamel rattle can. It had the finest finish I've ever done. Smooth as glass. Unfortunately was left a little worse for wear when the basement flooded. I don't have an airbrush... Wish I did... All I do is rattle can and brush the details. echoxrayniner
Jesus I forgot how ungodly sexy Firebirds can look when they're all black... Epic job, dude! Also you'll have 'em tail light meshes within a week and a half I hope!
