IJ001 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 (edited) My second Ken Schraeder build - this time the 1990 Lumina wearing Fred Cady decals. Far from my best and not visible in the photos thankfully - somehow I forgot to park the shell under my usual ice cream carton 'drying bay' as the Johnsons Klear / Future was going-off, so the d*mn thing does have a lot of dust particles and it bugs the h*ll out of me. Thanks for taking the time to look and / or comment, please feel free to hurl any abuse, ask any questions or offer any comments. Already got the next non-NASCAR build on the bench stand by for that very soon. AFN Ian. Edited June 24, 2018 by IJ001
Vietnam Vet67 Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Nice job................looks great. I remember Rusty Wallace won the 1989 Championship driving the Kodiak sponsored #27 Pontiac and then Kenny Schrader got the Kodiak sponsorship in 1990. Rusty went on to drive the Miller Lite car in 1990.
jchrisf Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Looks great Ian... it amazes me how fast you can build these.
Old Coyote Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Good looking build sir ............ Kenny was unique in that he could (and did) drive anything.
bbowser Posted June 24, 2018 Posted June 24, 2018 Great model! K was one of the greats, a real cut-up in and out of the car.
IJ001 Posted June 25, 2018 Author Posted June 25, 2018 (edited) Really trying to build some of the less well known rides - years ago I did a virtually unknown DJ Busch Lumina (Shoe World) and got another DJ ride to build that seems to have been forgotten. Maybe do that one next. In the meantime there's a VERY not NASCAR build wandering around my bench just now that you'll see in a few weeks. AFN Ian. Edited June 25, 2018 by IJ001
