Ack! Ack-ack!
As the Italeri kit number indicates this is an early issue (1980s or 1990s) of the civil version. All in all this is still an excellent kit except annoying two-piece styrene tyres. The latest re-issues (IT 6354) are slightly different military versions with improved rims but still without rubber tyres.
Jim B
Quite nice. Always good to see something a little different. So, these vehicles were used by the Wehrmacht? Edited May 24, 2019 by Jim B

Plastheniker
Clean work, period-correct colour combination! Besides the obsolete plastic tires there is a second shortcoming still in the latest reissues. The side panels have a very salient wood grain. This is unrealistic because absolutely no manufacturer would ever paint them without prior filling and sanding to make any wood grain disappear completely. Ack! Ack-ack!
Thanks for the compliments! On 24.5.2019 at 9:38 PM, Jim B said: Quite nice. Always good to see something a little different. So, these vehicles were used by the Wehrmacht? Indeed, the Opel Blitz was the transport backbone of the Wehrmacht. Modern, sturdy and reliable it came in many variations (4x2, 4x4, half track „Maultier“, even as armoured rocket launcher) for many duties and in all theatres.
