Never chopped a top before so I figure I would give it a go and see what happens. Well, looks like it is a pretty tough task. Not so great an outcome but I learned a ton and now I know what not to do when chopping a top. I will give it a go again sometime but I am going to take a break from heavy customs for a bit.

Tried Tamiya's two color paint and it is pretty cool. Goes on well and really didn't have any issues with it. Result is neat and I think there is even more you can do with it. It has given me some ideas anyway.

Thanks for looking

Chopping the top of a model for the first time is not for the faint of heart.  Interesting paint treatment.
