This tim I was looking for a 1995 - today Midas Cortez 2+2 Coupe.  The 2+2 models (Cortez and Excalibur) combine the unique features of the Midas all-GRP monocoque with modern mechanicals to give an exciting, yet practical, car that stands out from the crowd. Both use the Rover 100 (Rover Metro) as the donor car, giving a range of engines from 1100 to 1800cc. 

I'm not sure when Midas had start to produce the Cortez, here the source say sometimes 1992 some say 1995.

The earlier Midas offerings were much nicer. My dad had one for commuting and loved it.
