Thanks JC your post is very interesting and helpful for my build. I’m going with the dark blue on both of cars.
Thanks Jeff

Still waiting on my Plymouth letters so I’ve been working on the Cuda’s. Scratch built the front spoilers and started working on the engine’s.

Thanks Jeff, I’m thinking about making it diorama I’ve got some pictures of the truck and cars at different race tracks. They were either parked on grass or pavement. I would go with the pavement track setting.

Really looks good !

Noticed from the pit photos the differences they had w paint scheme on transport,  saw similar variations watching the 24 team during Jeffs carrer

Thanks Jeff and the cars were changing all the time I see something different on them in each picture. Was able to spray on the dark blue on the Cuda’s and clear coat the gray.

Thanks Carl

Thanks Brian I just used what Dan Gurney had.
I’ve been busy on the Cuda’s engine bay and have started fabricating the roll bars. I can’t believe how complex they were but I read somewhere that they were designed on a computer and it was the first time as well. It would be cool if the old files could be used to 3D print them.
I appreciate everyone’s comments.

The roll bar in the front part has been very tricky to get right I think I have it now for the right side next will be to do the left side and then start on the other car.

Excellent work on the cage... I like the work you've done... It's looking quite good... Looks like you're having fun, too, which is the most important thing to remember to do in this hobby... Beautiful job...

Thanks Brian.

Well I had to order some more blue paint and didn’t realize has more than one dark blue and I was not lucky to get the same dark blue as before so I’m now waiting for the correct dark blue to arrive. It’s a small delay but I still have the second roll bar to finish.

Thanks Jeff it was very evident that the color was off while I was spraying but once I started I had to finish both of them to make sure that they both will look the same when they’re done. I’ve got them both buffed out ready for the new correct paint to arrive. I was able to wire the spark plugs I’ve seen in the pictures that the wires were either black or blue and my last 2 per wired assemblies are black and blue so one is black and the other one is blue. Getting ready to build the roll bar for the other car now.
