dsummone Posted June 21, 2022 Author Posted June 21, 2022 Well I got the foil on the windows. That was the most stressful thing I’ve done in years… and I only had to do two areas. Dave. 2
dsummone Posted June 21, 2022 Author Posted June 21, 2022 There she is. I’m not going to rub it out, I’m really happy with the paint and I don’t want to mess it up. I have 1 little pinhole in the hood but I can live with that. I decided to blow apart the interior and start over with it. I think I can do better than what it was, so it’s soaking right now and I can hopefully get started on it in the next day or two. Dave. 1
David G. Posted June 21, 2022 Posted June 21, 2022 Looks like it's coming along nicely. Working with that foil can be a real bear sometimes but it looks like you got it to work for you. David G. 1
slusher Posted June 23, 2022 Posted June 23, 2022 Looks more like your picture of you 1:1 car in that shade of yellow.

dsummone Posted June 28, 2022 Author Posted June 28, 2022 Well, that’s the renewed interior minus steering wheel, I lost it somehow during the blow up of the cab. Im gonna die over this but I’m using the one out of the GTO kit. On to final assembly. Dave
dsummone Posted June 29, 2022 Author Posted June 29, 2022 Well there’s another one of my old rides done. This one was tough, dropping freshly painted body and having to repaint it, ten stitches and redoing the interior. But for only my 4th build I think they are progressing. My 3rd car, the MG Midget (MGB) is ordered and I have the Chevelle (not one of my 1:1s) going. Turning the MGB into a Midget is going to be interesting. The last pic shows my very first car,Bug. My second car, Duster. And my fourth car, Dart. Thanks for looking. Dave 1
David G. Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Nice detail work on the engine bay! Everything else looks great too. David G 1
