TheBandit Posted December 1, 2022 Posted December 1, 2022 Need help Identifying rims off of a NASCAR hauler from the mid-late 80s for an upcoming project. My guess is Alco 10 hole rims, but I'm unsure. Also wondering where could I grab the rims if they can be identified?
Jim B Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 I agree with you. The wheels look like 10-hole Alcoa aluminum wheels. You could try Mo'luminum: Truck Wheels (3dcartstores.com) 1
Fat Brian Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 The wheels from the AMT International 4300 are pretty close and those kits are fairly easy to find. 1
Fabrux Posted December 2, 2022 Posted December 2, 2022 On the Skoal truck at least they look like 24.5"; Bahari rig could be 22.5". The Moebius wheels would work, or a set from an Italeri kit. 1
Force Posted December 10, 2022 Posted December 10, 2022 (edited) They are tubeless style one piece 10-hole 22.5 and 24.5 inch Alcoa's and they are quite easy to find both in kits and on the aftermarket. Allthough most of the AMT truck kits with 10-hole Alcoa are tube style split ring style 20 and 22 inch wheels and they are not correct for this application as they are older style and obsolete.
