Altered Ego Posted April 17, 2023 Posted April 17, 2023 I don't usually post in the WIP Section, but this car has been coming along nicely. I have spoken with quite a few people on here about an accurate chassis for the Model King AWB Mustang body. The AMT 1967 Shelby GT-350 chassis works very well. I had to cut the transmission tunnel and torque boxes out to fit the Model King interior tub. I will post some engine bay pics as the catalyst for this project was a leftover Moebius Cammer from a Comet build I had done. A special thanks to afx for the resin hood, it fit perfectly. 8
Brockc Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 Would a revell gt 350 mustang chassis also fit as I’m planning on doing a mustang gasser and wanting to use one of my hertz mustang kits as a donor
deuces wild Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 You could... It would take a bunch of work because of the 2 different scales.. The amt body is 1/25 scale and the Revell chassis is bigger 1/24 scale... 1
Altered Ego Posted August 28, 2023 Author Posted August 28, 2023 My initial thought was the Revell chassis, but I avoided it because of the scale difference. 1
dragcarz Posted August 28, 2023 Posted August 28, 2023 I like what your doing here, really looks great. I agree the AMT 67 Mustang and Shelby chassis fits under a number bodies to make a more accurate Ford model.
