I just started this a couple days ago, here are a few photos,It looks ugly right know I'm in the process of putting the trim around all 4 wheel well,What a pain! The only thing left to do is put the side trim down the side, and it's ready for the final primer coats,The hood is made by Missing Link ,I put a sneak peak in the resin section..........Steve

Your 'ugly' is better than my 'pretty'. Nice start so far........color choices?

I'm thinking Amber Sherwood and Black, with the "HALO" vinyl top option, maybe!

Hey Steve I haven't sent the wheel covers yet, they seem to have disappeared, soon as I find them I'll get them sent.

Neat project!

My first car was a 74 Satellite. Great first car and made a Mopar guy for life.

Mine was that baby blue, dark blue interior, white vinyl roof and a little 318 2 bbl.

I'll be making one that color combination soon,This one is just a test run for me ,It will just be th Amber Sherwood with the black interior,And the side trim down the sides was an option for the Sebring Plus,As was the Vinyl roof,But it will have the 4000 in it though  Edited by spkgibson

Is this the old Monogram 1/24 kit?

I'll enjoy watching this come along.

No, it's the MPC 1/25 kit.

Just a few '73-'74 Satellite pics:

That SSP trim is going to be a PITA, Steve, but keep at it. ;) I think the SSPs are the best looking of the '73-'74s, especially when they have two-tone paint, like so:

Please PM me on the wheel covers,As I don't want my first on the workbench trend ruined by a bunch of nonsense that went on in the trade section,If you find them,I could use them!

What kinda wheel covers you need?

What kinda wheel covers you need?

AMT'S 69 Riviera stock wheel covers,They are the closest match I can find for this car,I have a couple sets,But those will be used on the 75 Fury 2-door I'm working on,And the other set will be used on the 76 Charger Sport I'm working on,The 70 Impala stock wheel cover would work also,as they are almost the same thing,Thanks for looking.........Steve

I have the 72 Road Runner kit,As the last photo is a 72,I may just have to make a 72 SSP,Thats a cool Idea,I finished the trim at the top of the doors last night,I'll post some pics as soon as I can get the final primer coats on,this car is kinda easy,Just when starting to make all the trim,Use bare plastic,Before you try to attach it,I ran into some issues with the wheel well trim, till I stripped off the primer, after I did that,it basicaly fell into place,On this one,It won't have the vinyl top,as this is just a test run of how to make the car,I also made the PLYMOUTH emblem for the header panel,I foil cast it from the trunk of one of my 73 Duster kits,The next one I make will have the HALO roof option,Now if only, some one would make the "SUNDANCE" Decals to make the 74 spring edition of this car!The hoods are out,From Missing Link,so know we need to contact Keith Marks to make the decals with the satellite emblems, and that version of the car I mentioned,Any one want to start up a pool to see if we can get him to make them? Ok back to working on the car,I'll post photos after final primer!

Nice color choice. I liked the 1:1 in Spinnaker Blue with the white vinyl top of the pictures shown, and the Sundance special trim. Those stripes are subtle, and look nice.

I hope all goes well with your recovery I know what its like to lose the ability to walk. I lost mine for almost a year. Looking forward to more progress on your build as this will indicate you are getting back in the saddle. B)
