bbowser Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Very nice job. It appears your Polar Lights kit went together better than my Dodge Charger did. I struggled with nearly every part getting them to fit!
Teds57 Posted April 5, 2011 Author Posted April 5, 2011 Yeah this one went together really well the chargers are all nightmares i have the petty charger im building for my cousin as well Its bad all over for fit Ted
Boreham Posted April 11, 2011 Posted April 11, 2011 I love it.. great lookin build..any tips on what to watch for on these polar lights torino/tallaghdegas/cyclone spoilers. cool lookin nascar..
Teds57 Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 the only real problem i had was with the hood and as you can see in the pics it never did settle right down it was so badly warped i had to heat it and reshape it otherwise it was a great kit to build Ted
sflam123 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 What paint and what color did you use to get the "Ford" Petty Blue? I've got this kit in my "to do" list and I'm curious.
Teds57 Posted April 27, 2011 Author Posted April 27, 2011 the paint was a can of laquer i found at home depot it was one of their brand paints but the color was so close and it worked out well
John Pol Posted April 28, 2011 Posted April 28, 2011 Hi Ted: You did a real nice job on this I like the older stock cars. John Pol
